Billing and Insurance

Insurance-Based Clients

We believe accessing quality mental health care should be as simple as possible. We are In-Network with many major insurance plans, and will gladly verify your benefits before your fist appointment.

Important Insurance Information

  • We verify insurance benefits as a courtesy before services begin.

  • Insurance companies provide benefit estimates that are not a guarantee of payment.

  • Your actual coverage is determined by your insurance company after your claim is processed according to your specific plan.

  • You may be responsible for copayments, coinsurances, deductibles, non-covered services, or any balance not paid by your insurance.

  • If we become aware of changes to your estimated responsibility, we will notify you as soon as possible.

  • If your insurance does not pay for services for any reason, you are responsible for the remaining balance in accordance with our financial agreement.

Questions About Your Coverage?

Contact our office before your first appointment. Our team is happy to verify your benefits, explain your estimated costs, and answer any questions about your insurance coverage.

Good Faith Estimate (Private Pay Clients)

Your Right to Know the Cost of Your Care

At Stronger Together Licensed Counseling and Wellness Center, we believe in transparency and helping you make informed decisions about your mental health care.

Under the No Surprises Act, health care providers are required to provide uninsured or self-pay clients with a Good Faith Estimate (GFE) of the expected cost of services before treatment begins.

A Good Faith Estimate outlines the anticipated costs of your psychotherapy services based on the information available at the time it is prepared. Because treatment needs can change, your estimate may be updated throughout your course of care if clinically appropriate.

Who Can Receive a Good Faith Estimate?

  • Individuals who do not have health insurance.

  • Individuals who choose not to use their insurance benefits.

  • Individuals paying for services out of pocket (self-pay).

What Does the Estimate Include?
Your estimate may include anticipated charges for individual therapy, couples counseling, family therapy, teen and child therapy, substance use counseling, group therapy (when applicable), initial
assessments, and ongoing psychotherapy sessions. The estimate is based on your anticipated treatment plan and may change if your clinical needs change.

Your Rights

  • Receive a Good Faith Estimate before beginning services.

  • Request an updated estimate at any time during treatment.

  • Ask questions about your estimated costs before receiving care.

  • Keep a copy of your estimate for your records.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you may have the right to dispute the bill through the federal patient-provider dispute resolution process.

Receiving Your Estimate
Your Good Faith Estimate will be provided before your first appointment (when applicable), upon request, and through our secure client portal when available.
