Tatiana Starr, LMFT

My name is Tatiana Starr Daniels, also known as “Estrella,” and I am originally from the bay area now living in Sacramento. I am a bilingual therapist with Spanish as my second language. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a minor in Psychology from CSU, Sacramento and earned my master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from Boston University. I am now an associate therapist with experience serving the following populations: seniors, children (K-12), transitional aged youth 18-24, women, men, people of color, marginalized populations, people in all stages of addiction recovery, and Christians.

 

I have a passion for understanding the brain, helping clients reach their goals, and to become the best version of themselves that they aspire to be. I am able to genuinely engage people from all walks of life whether they are experiencing homelessness or are a CEO of a fortune five hundred company. 

 

Some strengths that contribute to my therapeutic work with clients are teaching healthy communication skills, utilizing psychoeducation, and taking approaches that are client-centered, trauma-informed, humanistic, strength-based, and integrating biblical and therapeutic principles.

 

I have served clients experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, addiction recovery, grief and loss, familial and relationship conflicts, workplace stress/conflict/discrimination, and people pursuing a work-life balance.
